How to claim your place
Claiming your business within Carizma is the first step towards optimizing your business profile. This is your opportunity to control the message the potential patron sees when evaluating if they want to come in. You may want to simply verify that all the data is accurate or make changes to enhance the message.
You are in control. We highly recommend that you change the description to the message you want to convey. Add all the links for the menu, website, takeout, and phone number.
You can change other items as well as you see fit.
Step 1. Verify your Phone number.
- Go to Passport (lower right hand corner)
- Find the field for adding your phone #
- Enter your phone number
- Request the code
- Once the code is sent via text, place the code in the designated field
Step 2. Locate your business.
- Go to the EXPLORE screen. (Bottom row on screen)
- Search for your business name in the field at the top
- The auto suggest will display the closest suggestion
- In the list, you should be able to locate your business name
- Select your business
Step 3. Claim your business.
- In the upper right hand corner locate the Hamburger (3 dots) and click
- An option menu is displayed. Select “Claim this place”
- Claim it
- You are now the proud owner of your business in Carizma
- Note for multi-unit enterprises: If you are claiming multiple locations, simply locate each place and claim them in the similar way
Step 4. Manage the information on your business profile.
- Open your business profile
- Locate the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner and click
- You will be prompted to: manage this place, select
- You are now able to manage this place
Step 5. Manage
- All the fields are in your control to modify, change or leave as they are
- There is an additional white paper on Section 5, How to manage your Place Profile that is quite helpful
- You can navigate around and find that changing things is quite intuitive
Step 6. Locating your claimed business profile for quick look–up.
- Once you have a claimed place, you can locate it quickly
- Go to your passport. (Bottom row of main screen)
- Scroll down to, “My Places”
- Below will be the list of your claimed Business locations (units)
- Select the one you want to work on and it will open up
Step 7. This step is actually the most valuable of all. Managing your Place’s feed
As one of those that has Claimed a Place, you have the ability to contribute to the Place’s feed. This is the section just above the review section with reviews from patrons. This section is designed to allow you, the business owner, to promote your best features and reviews prior to a user reading the first review from a patron.
- Open your Place profile
- Locate the review button (bottom of screen in the middle)
- Select it
- Add a picture, write your comments and select the items in the VIBE set that are relevant to your review
- Select “submit review”
- You have now posted your first review that will show up in your Place’s feed
